He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Arneson and Naomi Arneson (Evans); his wife Eva Nell; and his siblings, Alice Voss, Tom Arneson, Bill Arneson, Garfield Arneson, Marvin Arneson and Robert Arneson.

He is survived by: his grandchild Jess; his sons, John Arneson and Steve Arneson; his grandchildren, Zak Arneson (Lacey Reeson) and Jessica Arneson-Mueller (Ryan Mueller); his great grandchildren, Peri Eva, Mila Nell and Ginny Arneson; his children, Jessica and Zak; and his pets, Jack, Macy, Schmitt, Riggs, Jeb, Gus and Katelyn.
