He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schwahn and Catherine Schwahn (Jochim); his wife Barbara; and his siblings, Art Schwahn (Lillian) and Alvina Brezden.
He is survived by: his children, Bill, Jr. Schwahn (Deb) of Belgrade, Regina Petersen (Tom) of Baraboo and Julie Schmitz (Andy) of North Freedom, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Amanda Diskin (Eric), Sara Vogel, Christopher Schwahn (Kristen), Michael Schwahn (Janine), Celeste Petersen, Joshua Petersen (Emily), Kaitlyn Mortensen (Michael McCabe) and Rebeka Spencer (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Landon, Avery Diskin, Nicholas, Olivia Vogel, Emily, Dillon Schwahn, Carter, Jaxon McCabe, Ryker, Gemma Spencer, Jackson and Carson Marshall; his brother Victor Schwahn (Joanna) of Bismarck; his brother-in-law Lou Brezden of Fargo; his sister Kathy Rising (Rod) of St. George, Utah.; and also, Rachel Schmitz and Samantha Marshall.
