William J. Hamshire Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 11, 2019, at the age of 78, William J. Hamshire (Baraboo, Wisconsin), born in Platteville, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William V. Hamshire and Verona M. Hamshire (Baker); his stepmother Estelle Hamshire (Noltner); his brother Sylvester Hamshire (Rosalie); and his stepsisters, Mary Jane Marr (William), Jan Netzer and Beverly Noltner.
He is survived by: his spouse Sharon of Baraboo; his children, Lori Laux (Bryan) of Baraboo and William A. Hamshire of Mountain View, California; his grandchildren, Jason Laux (Shannon) of Baraboo, Kevin Laux of Edina, MN, Adam Laux of Aurora, IL and Tyler Laux of Madison; his great grandchild Jaelynn Laux of Baraboo; and his brother David Hamshire (MaryAnn) of West Yarmouth, MA. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to UW-Platteville Foundation (William J. Hamshire Scholarship) or the Alzheimer's Association.
