He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Erwin Hauck (Erv) and Fern Hauck; his children, Michael Hauck (Sarah), David Hauck, Jeffrey Hauck (Laura), Wendy Garetson (Jamie), Kara Dolezal (John) and Tara Bjork (Erik); his grandchildren, Bradlee Garetson, Chelsea George (Matthew), Kiersten Fedie (Christopher), Joshua Hauck (Ellie), Michaela Sebastiani, Katie Hauck, Taylor Williams, Isabel Hauck, McKenzie Hauck, Seth Sebastiani, David Hauck, Blake Hauck and Isaac Hauck; his great grandchildren, Jayce George, Reina Fedie, Piper Fedie, Lilyana George and Quinlee Garetson; his sister Karen Swanson; his nephew Kyle Swanson; his niece Shayna Swanson; and his close friend Jacky.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home (401 Madison Ave, Baraboo, WI 53913).
