He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Nelson and Mae Nelson (Reichling); his sons, Rick, Henry and Charlie; and his siblings, Rita, Dorothy, Mary and Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Farrell; his children, Pat Nelson (Pam), Al Nelson (Susan), Ken Nelson (Nancy), David Nelson (Jennifer), Matt Nelson (Stacey) and Susan Stoddard (Brad); and his siblings, Ruth Tauber, Beth Klemm, Jackie Mc Keegan (Mac) and John Nelson (Lorretta). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
