With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wava Jean Vertein (Baraboo, Wisconsin), who passed away on April 25, 2018 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Bender and Vera Bender (Frambs); her husband Merrell; her son Randall Vertein; and also, Harry Vertein and Amanda Vertein.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Haertlein (Jeff) of North Freedom and Greg Vertein (Dawn) of Stevens Point; her grandchildren, Nicholas Vertein and Brenna Vertein; her brothers, James Bender (Sandy) and Keith Bender; her uncle Roger Frambs; and also, Harriet Schroeder (Ray) and Don Vertein (Lyla). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
