He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Trager and Lucy "Violet" Trager (Knight); his brothers, Orlin and Lowell Trager; his son-in-law Durlin Knuth; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Trager (Litscher).
He is survived by: his wife Martha Rueckheim of Baraboo; his children, Sharon Schlieckau (David) of Loganville, Karen Knuth of Loganville and Bruce Trager (Joann) of Baraboo; and his grandchildren, Lora Dadam (Scott), Heidi Kruse (Mark), Kris Klemp (Zach), Melissa Lorbiecki (Derek), Jason Knuth (Ashley), Joshua Trager (Michelle) and Aaron Trager (Rebecca).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
