With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley J. Wedekind of Baraboo, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 7, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orval Walker and Florence Walker (Evans); her daughter Sandra Stanley; her sons-in-law, John Walrath and Dan Stanley; her siblings, Robert Walker (Dorothy), Beverly Prothero (Russel), Betty Giebel (Robert), Gerald Walker (Fusako), Ronald Walker (Sally) and Susan Erickson (Edward); and her siblings-in-law, Rebecca Walker, William Turner, Harold Rist and Andy Kemp.
She is survived by: her husband Phil; her children, Tim Wedekind of Baraboo, Tom Wedekind of Baraboo, James Wedekind (Lisa) of Baraboo and Janet Walrath of Baraboo; her grandchildren, Christopher Stanley (Stacey), Matt Stanley, Kyle Stanley, Shane Wedekind (Alina), Ryan Wedekind, Briana Stepp (Kyle), Audrey Wedekind and Brandon Walrath; her great grandchildren, Deacon, Elena, Rhys, Charlie, Sophia, Nolan and Nora; and her siblings, Gale Walker (Bonnie), Bruce Walker (Pam), Chester Walker, Patricia Kemp, Charlene Turner and Mary Albedyll. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to SSM Health Hospice House of Baraboo, WI.
