We are sad to announce that on May 7, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Shirley J. Hess of Baraboo, Wisconsin, born in West Baraboo, Wisconsin. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Shirley leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Steinhorst and Viola Steinhorst (Hinz); her husband Edward Hess; and her sister Marie Boyles. She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Running (Brian) of Waukesha; her grandchildren, Charlotte Running (Josh Zabler) of Waukesha, Christopher Running (Darby) of Madison and Drew Running of Milwaukee; and her sister Betty Schultz of Fairfield. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
