She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Olson and Shirley Olson (Gore); her half-brother Jack Combs; and her close friend Jim Schneider. She is survived by: her son Aaron Hill (Heather Sanders); her brother Mike Olson (Barbara); her grandchildren, Akasha, Wesley and Akeelah; her stepmother Kay Goff; her nieces, Mica, Erica Olson and Marisa Livingston (Brian); and her sisters, Deb Wells, Amber McFaul and Bonnie LaVigne.
