He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stewart Simonds and Lanette Simonds (Meyer); his wife Patsy Kasten; his children, Peter Simonds of Denver and Sarah Simonds of Seattle; his grandchildren, Chase Simonds of Baraboo, Bayli Simonds of Denver, Bryce Pohl of Denver and Caleb Pohl of Denver; his sister Pam Andersen of Baraboo; his sisters-in-law, Maureen Van Enkevort (David) of Poynette, Chris Barbian (Paul) of Deerfield and Terri Neuman (Mike); his stepmother-in-law Mary Kasten; his close friends, Ron Carr and Karen Lawlor; and his parents-in-law, Don Kasten and Alice Bolstad. He was also cherished by nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers at the time, memorials in Scotts name may be made to the family.
