He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Philipp and Albert LeRoy "Roy" Hasenbalg; his grandparents, Clarissa and Albert Hasenbalg; his former wife Betty; his stepfather Hank Nessel; his parents-in-law, Thomas and Jeanette Tierney; and his sister Patricia Leo.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his sister Babette DeWitt; his children, Cathy (Tom Zinkie), Kim Hasenbalg, Karen (Mark Gasser), Russ (Laurie Hasenbalg) and Lisa Hasenbalg (Jef Biesinger); his grandchildren, Greg Zinkie, Stephanie (Dan Beardsley), Blythe (Trevor Robbins), Shannon (Egon Casteel), Stacey (Jon Peters), Kristen (Ryan Marheine), Marcus (Lindsey Montgomery) and Tim Gasser (Shelly Gasser); his great grandchildren, Miranda Zinkie, Brooke, Cole Beardsley, Edwin Robbins, Brianna, Austin Peters, Rylee, Jordan Marheine, Jaxon, Scarlytt Montgomery, Tabitha Gasser and Cloe Triggs; his great great grandchildren, Quinton, Grayson Green, Alayah Morales-Triggs The and Dr. Nathan Mustain; his caregiver Linda; and also Russ. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home (401 Madison Ave, Baraboo, WI 53913).
