The memory of Phillip J. Traxler (Baraboo, Wisconsin), who passed away on February 10, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Traxler and Josephine Traxler (Lindsay). He is survived by: his children, John Traxler (Heidi) and Laura Lois (Brad); his grandchildren, Jedediah Traxler (Hilary), Jameson Traxler (Ally Ring), Claire Lois and Grace Lois; his great grandchild Nora Traxler; his siblings, Jolene Crowley (Bill) and Jerry Traxler (Barb); his wife Joan Jansen (family: Michael Jansen, David Jansen, Julia Huberty) of Marshfield; his grandchildren, Olivia Jansen, Jenna Jansen, Brooke Jansen, Matthew Huberty (Edith), William Huberty (Madison), Mitchell Huberty (Kylee) and Marshall Huberty (Carianna); and his great grandchildren, Harvey Huberty and Brooks Hubety. He is also survived by many in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, distant relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Phil's name to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 310 2nd St. Baraboo, WI 53913, and/or the House of the Dove Hospice House, 1000 W 11th St. Marshfield, WI, 54449.
