It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin F. Brandt (Baraboo, Wisconsin), who passed away on November 11, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Irwin Brandt and Lydia Brandt (Ohland); his wife Delores; his daughter JoNelle Marquardt; his brother Gerhardt Brandt (Verna); and his great grandchild Bennett Brandt.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Brandt (Donna) of Osceola and Thomas Brandt (Lori) of Watertown; his son-in-law John Marquardt; his grandchildren, Kristi Heim (Rob), Kari Thoma (Ben), Jenna Marquardt, Trisha Brandt, Tara Sheppard (Trevor), Nathaniel Brandt (Jennifer), Andrew Brandt (Rachel) and Whitney Wiesshoff (Mitchell); his great grandchildren, Lily Heim, Carly Heim, Hunter Thoma, Paige Thoma, Tegan Sheppard, Carter Brandt, Avalyn Brandt, Beckham Brandt, Finley Brandt and Mila Wiesshoff; and his sisters-in-law, Estella Muchow, Myrtle Muchow and Marcella Harms (Arend). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. John's Lutheran Church.
