As Martha Ann departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Martha Ann. Though Martha Ann may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther Gibbons and Harry Gibbons; her husband Donald Edward Rau; her daughter Lynn Rau; and her brother Thomas "Tom" Gibbons.
She is survived by: her children, Gail "Gussie" Racherbaumer of Lexington and Jeffrey Rau (Laura) of Keedysville, Maryland; and her stepgrandchildren, Kelly Barnich (Fred) and Ryan Summerlin. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (624 East St, Baraboo, WI 53913).
