He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Martz and Lucile Martz (Miller); his stepfather Richard Mudgett; and his siblings, Lucille Smith and Richard Mudgett.
He is survived by: his wife Jaculin; his sons, Matthew Berthold (Melissa), Bradley Berthold (Corvette), Michael Martz (Tori) and Frank Martz; and his siblings, Clyde Martz (Eileen), Norman Mudgett, George Mudgett (Carol), Dale Mudgett, Betty Harp (Jim), Debbie Wright (Mike), Pat Williams (Hugh) and Marti Simmons (Ed). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
