He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Knoll and Mary Knoll (Braun); his wife Mary McKay; his siblings, Richard Knoll, Severena Nerim and Martina Jablonski; and his nephew Larry Nerim.
He is survived by: his sister Sylvia Forrest (Robert); his children, Mary Rodewald, Kristopher Knoll (Lydia) and Jonathan Knoll (Jessica); and his granddaughters, Mackenzie and Samantha Knoll. He is also survived by other relatives and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
