With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph W. Ward of Baraboo, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 28, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ward and Madeleine Ward. He is survived by: his wife Lou Ann of Middleton; his sons, Wayne (Sheryl) of Madison, Bryan (Joyce) of Baraboo and Jody (Jana) of Wisconsin Dells; his grandchildren, Chris Burdick (Lori) of North Freedom, Bryan Ward Jr. of Huntsville, AL and Shelby Ward of Palm Springs, CA; his great grandchild Elana Burdick of North Freedom; and his brother Jerry Ward (Jan) of Baraboo.

In lieu of flowers and donations, Joe would want you to spend time at the Sauk County Historical Society or the Baraboo Library, reading about local history.
