He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Blau and Rose Blau (Ruhland); his former wife Lorrell Burke; and his siblings, Edwin Blau (Clara), Leo Blau (Charlotte), Charles, Mary Lange (Gerald), Joe Blau, Rose Ann Blau, Florence Krejchik and Ladi Kout (Irene).
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Crowley Haefer; his daughters, Melanie Wentler (Tom), Gaylene Stingl, Carrie Johnson (Kevin) and Michelle DeVries (Michael); his grandchildren, Heather Wentler (Christopher Meyer), Lisa Wentler, Tammy Edwards (Bob), Tom Stingl (Kayla), Ashley Baier (Jeremy), Courtney Kirkeeng (Greg), Macayla DeVries and Marissa DeVries; his great grandchildren, Jayce Miller, Ely, Georgia, Murphy Baier and Chloe Kirkeeng; his brothers, Alvin Blau (Karen) and Luke Blau (Christine); and his sister-in-law Donna Blau. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other near relatives and many close friends.
