With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Ruth Anderson of Baraboo, Wisconsin, born in Escanaba, Michigan, who passed away on May 13, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nels and Alice; and her siblings, Dick Nelson (Lois) and Mary Thurber (Wint). She is survived by: her husband J. Philemon "Phil" Anderson of St. Ignace; her children, Susan Simpson (Earle) of Baraboo, Richard Anderson (Judy) of Lake Tapps and Steven Andersson (Kristin) of Upper Arlington, Ohio; her grandchildren, Sara Lindemann (Christian), Carl Anderson, Hanna and Betsy Andersson; her great grandchildren, Addison and Kennedy Lindemann; her cousin Leroy Johnson (Verna); her sister-in-law Miriam Johnson; her nephews, Rick Nelson, Tim, Matt Thurber and Phil Johnson; and her niece Paula Johnson.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul's in Mrs. Anderson's memory.
