Joan B. Konkel Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 14, 2022, Joan B. Konkel (Baraboo, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Kirner and Mildred Kirner; her husband Walter Wally Konkel; her parents-in-law, George and Myrtle Konkel; her sister June Bunny Koroch; her brothers-in-law, Stuart Herwig, Fred Koroch, Everett Frank Jr., Ken Bublitz, Bob Kluge and Dale Nichols; and her son-in-law Peter Sviatoslavsky.
She is survived by: her children, Terry, Karll Kruse, Lori, Jim Turek, Green Bay, Jeff Konkel and Andrea Klitzke; her grandchildren, Katelyn Kruse, Kristopher Kruse, Mia Turek and Tim Turek; her siblings, Joyce Herwig, Janice Frank, Ron Kirner (Arlene), Jackie Healy, Larry Kirner and Jeanne Baertsch; and her sisters-in-law, Delores Bublitz, Janelle Zurbachen (Allan), Barb Kluge and Karen Nichols. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many other friends and relatives.
Memorial donations may be made to the Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin.
