She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin O'Brien and Mary O'Brien (McKeon); her husband Phillip D. "Phil" Stopper; her daughter Mary; and her siblings, Joan Carey, Judy, Melvin, Donald, Francis, Paul, Harold, Mike and Larry.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Anderson (Bret), Laurie Barchus (Brian), George Stopper (Cyndi), Tina Gebhard (Bruce) and Michele Henry (Pat); her grandchildren, Ben Anderson (Katy), Jessica Henderson (Nils), Ashley Anderson (Joe Reed), Joshua Barchus (Amber Bittner), Bruce Gebhard Jr. (Natalie), Tierney Sawaska (Joe), Mike Gebhard (Hannah Hartwood), Samantha Robson (Matt), Trayton Stewart, Megan Haack (Chris), Macy Henry and Brady Henry; her great grandchildren, Thomas, Riley, Emery, Harper, Aiden, Chloe, Austin, Landon, Blake, Savannah, Emma, Jack, Will and Hudson; her siblings, Patrick "Gary" O'Brien (Betty) and Mary Karow; and her sisters-in-law, Henrietta "Hank" O'Brien, Florence O'Brien and Nancy Prine. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (310 2nd St, Baraboo, WI 53913). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in Jean's memory to American Legion Auxiliary Post 26, PO Box 37, Baraboo.
