James M. Halbach Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 18, 2025, James M. Halbach of Baraboo, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gido Halbach and Loraine Halbach (Mueller); his wife Virginia Berger; his daughters, Susan and Michelle Baxter; his brother David Halbach (Valerie); and his siblings-in-law, Sherry Halbach and Paul Schierl.

He is survived by: his daughter Wendy Hakala (Brian); his grandchildren, Alex Halbach, Annie Licitar (Nick), Mitch Halbach, Dylan Baxter (Kristin) and Taylor Woodruff (Cody); and his siblings, Lee Halbach and JoAnne Schierl. He is also survived by other relatives and dear friends.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (310 2nd St, Baraboo, WI 53913).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Jim's favorite charity: City of St. Jude Parish, 2048 West Fairview Ave. Montgomery, AL, 36108.
