He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thompson and Edna Thompson; his siblings, Betty Paske, John Thompson (Junior) and Dean Thompson; and his sons-in-law, Kurt Schoenoff and Don Anderson.
He is survived by: his former wife Teresa Repka; his wife Teresa "Tess" Thompson; his children, Victoria Chapman (Lloyd), George Thompson (Lynne), Tammy Anderson, Douglas Thompson (Tara), Connie Ortiz (Von), John Stoeckman (Mike), Cathy Hlavacek (Steve) and Sandra Lankey (Stan); and his siblings, Gene Thompson (Evie) and Carol Ohlsen (Martin). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
