Charles T. Sophie Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2020, at the age of 83, Charles T. Sophie (Baraboo, Wisconsin), born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Sophie and Viola Sophie (Benjamin); his parents-in-law, Florence and Norman Wulf; his children, Jennifer Lynn and Norman Phillip; and his siblings, Betty, Phillip and Rosie.

He is survived by: his wife Norma Wulf; his children, Joyce Schmidt (Bryan Ward), Laura Beth Joswick (Gregory Joz), Charles D. Sophie (Cindy), Shannon Weber (Shawn), Gabrielle Jensen (Joe) and Eileen Shanks (Mike); his grandchildren, Timothy (Dawn), Robert, Leah, Alex (Penny), Andrea (Mark), Amanda (Mark), Madeline, Autumn (Victor), Kelsey (Tyler), Jennifer and Christopher; and his sister-in-law Eileen Poczekaj. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
