He was predeceased by: his wife Carol; his parents, Arthur Blystad and Phoebe Blystad; his nieces, Christine Pfeil and Joyce Bender Kannon; his nephew Dennis Clark; his sister-in-law Anne Blystad; and also, Eileen "Joyce", Lloyd Webster, Phyllis "June", Robert Schulz, Barbara R., Cal Clark and Pearl "Elaine" Bender.
He is survived by: his daughters, Laura Weiler (Scott) and Carrie Piantoni (Michael); his grandchildren, Samantha, Zachary and Abigail; his brother Arthur "Stu" Blystad; his brother-in-law Erwin "Ben" Bender; and also, Margaret Sellers (Vic Melville), Alice Gilhart (Jack) and Duncan Lestina (Emma). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, close friends.
