It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Briggsville Duane R. Washburn (Baraboo, Wisconsin), who passed away on November 18, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Washburn and Esther Washburn (Burtch); his brother Andrew Washburn; his children, Joyce Washburn, Dennis Washburn and Danny Washburn; and his grandson Christopher Persinger.
He is survived by: his wife Patty; his children, Pamela Bredesen, Paula Hanger (Todd) and Shelley Persinger (Todd); his stepchildren, Diana Marquardt (Goeff), Mark Schmoller (Todd Goldsberry), Brenda Burnham (Paul) and Steve Schmoller; his grandchildren, Marcus Bredesen, Courtney Persinger, Caitlyn Persinger, Logan Hanger, Lucas Hanger and Lacey Hanger; his stepgrandchildren, Patty Buska, Steve Buska and Dakota Burnham; his brothers, Gene Washburn (Elaine) and James Washburn (Peggy); and his sister-in-law Pat Washburn. He is also survived by nephews, other relatives and friends.
