She was predeceased by: her parents, Conrad F. Schepp and Esther V. Schepp (Ebert). She is survived by: her husband Ervin Orlin Hess Jr.; her children, Fredrick W. Hess (Debi) and Julie Payne (Hess); and her brothers, Benjamin G. Schepp (IL) and Roy E. Schepp (VA). She is also survived by five grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
