She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin III and Constance Jones (Rockman); her former husband Bobby Robertson Sr.; her brothers, Franklin Jones IV and Kevin Jones; and her grandparents, Grover Rockman and Bessie WhiteEagle of Wittenberg.

She is survived by: her children, Brittany Robertson and Bobby Jones; her husband Ronald Hicks; her siblings, Jennifer Jones, Marlene Peterson and Christian Jones; her niece Amber Jones; her great-nephew Aedyn; and her stepmother Ferne Szulc. She is also survived by many extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family of April to be designated at a later date.
