She was predeceased by: her parents, William Schroeder and Lillian Schroeder (Vehrenkamp); her spouse Du Wayne "Dewey" Bjorkman of Bangor; her siblings, Elizabeth Schroeder, Helen Torvik (Oscar), Dorothy Kahler (John), Floyd Schroeder (Ardell) and William Schroeder; her grandson Scott Herman; and her son-in-law Gerald Herman.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn J. Herman (Bjorkman) of Bangor and Dewey J. Bjorkman of La Crosse; her grandchildren, Shari Axelsen (Mike) of Rockland, Linnea Bjorkman of Denver and Timothy Bjorkman of Los Angeles; her great grandchildren, Lance, Dylan Axelsen, Kaylee and Madisyn Herman; her sister-in-law Penelope "Poppy" Schroeder; and also Jennifer Lockman (James).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church or Sunshine on the Trail, or the Bangor Library.
