It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Hemker of Bangor, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schober and Mildred Schober (Berg); her husband Herbert Hemker; her brother Raymond; her siblings-in-law, Carol Schober, Walter Hemker (Arlene), Charles Hemker (Joyce), Elsie Hemker, Raymond Hemker (Donna), Dorothy Solberg (Merle), Eldor Hemker and Edwin Hemker (Elberta); and her cousin Evelyn Kastenschmidt.

She is survived by: her children, John Hemker (Shelli Rice), Julie Linhart (Chris) and Joe Hemker (Lisa); her grandchildren, Michael Linhart, Andrew Linhart, Eli Hemker and Ella Hemker; and her sisters, Eldora Larson (Tom) of Hudson, WI, Eileen Crubaugh (Doug) of Middleton, WI and Ellen Stuhr (Bruce) of Melrose, WI. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and many special friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Teresa of Kolkata Parish (210 E Hamlin St, West Salem, WI 54669).
