She is survived by: her husband Carver Smerud; her daughter Stacy Serres (Chad); her brother Gerald Brumm of New Albin; and her aunt Gladys Tegtmier of Caledonia. She is also survived by brothers and sister-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
