He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Beal and Irene Beal; his wife Delores; his brothers, Dick, Audrie and Joel Carpenter; his siblings-in-law, Dick and Joelene Laxton; and his great grandchildren, Ryan Nickerson and Nolan Leis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Leis (Jerry) of Rockland, Teri Meyer (Larry) of La Crescent and Kim Reedich (Rob) of Rockland, Wis.; his grandchildren, Chad Leis (Brenda), Melissa Gollnik (Bob), Chandra Roark (Matt), Cyle Nickerson (Trisha), Jenna Kastenschmidt (Jesse Giebel) and Travis Reedich; his great grandchildren, Brenna, Maxwel, Wilson, Levi, Madison and Brantley John; his nephews, Bill, Richard, Tom, Paul, Steve and Greg; his niece Sue; and his sisters-in-law, Loraine and Mina Beal. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; to whom he was lovingly called pops, grandpa.
