She was predeceased by: her parents, Nina Vanderzee and Herbert Vanderzee; her in-laws, Sue and Walter Bramschreiber; and her brother Dave.
She is survived by: her son Karl; her husband Tom Bramschreiber; her daughter Jenny Steins; her grandson Nate Steins; and her close friends, Marti Walker, Lee Steyer, Jane, Bill Brewer, Phillip Loss and Linda Saley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In place of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Carol's name to Morrow Home in Sparta or the Bangor Public Library.
