He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy J. Taubitz and Seloma Taubitz Sr. (McClain); his son Joseph Taubitz; his sister Sue Warax; and his sister-in-law Cathy.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Taubitz; his daughter Kristin; his grandson Andrew; his sister Nancy Zuehlke; and his siblings-in-law, Ray Ziaya (Dawn), Larry Ziaya, Herb Warax and Christine Ziaya of Plainfield. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
