He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Meliton Zapata and Maclovia Zapata (Alverez); his wife Maria Zapata; and his daughters, Maclovia Walker, Marcella Zapata, Magdalena Perez and Victoria Zapata. He was also cherished by his 19 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.
