He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell A. Petersen and C. Eleanor Nelson (Petersen). He is survived by: his children, Wendell Eric Petersen and Cathy Fine (Michael); his granddaughters, Lauren, Alexis and Ali Fine; his siblings, Catherine Feste (Dale) and A. Herbert "Skip" Nelson (Susan); and his friend Nancy Hall.
