He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Vernon and Mamie Vernon; his stepdaughter Melanie Lastra; and his brother Larry Vernon. He is survived by: his wife Carol (Johnson); his stepdaughters, Debbie Berg (Martin) and April Goodwin (Dan); and his grandsons, Mike, Aaron Goodwin, Brian and David Berg.
