He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James and Geraldine; his children, Roxanne Lester (Dave) of Fairbanks, AK and Chad Gallmeier (Laura) of Woodville; his grandchildren, Carl James, Zachary, Sam Lester, Jamison and Grayson Gallmeier; his siblings, Sharolyn Fisher, Bruce (JoAnn) and Roger Gallmeier; his former wife Nancy; his brother Michael; and his grandson Jake. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, friends & extended relatives.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to American Legion Post #240, 410 Maple St. Baldwin.
