She was predeceased by: her parents, Nick Mehleis and Linda Mehleis (Clausnitzer); her husband Gustav "Fritz" Sempf; her daughter Linda LaFave; her siblings, Paul Mehleis, Irene Zillmer and Gen Martin; and her half-brother John Peterson.
She is survived by: her close friend Dorothy Magnuson; her children, Bill Sempf of Boyceville, WI and Kathy Standaert (Doug) of Glenwood City, WI; her son-in-law Joseph LaFave; her grandchildren, Dan LaFave (Denise), Tim LaFave, Nikki Simmon (Troy), Amanda Standaert and Emilee Samens (Kyle); her great grandchildren, Brittany Trivaglio (Andy), Brandon LaFave, Andy Grant, Sydney Grant and Rory Standaert; her great great grandchildren, Braxton and Huxson Trivaglio; her half-sisters, Barbara Winberg (Leroy) and Catherine Gerry (Ron); and her sister-in-law Darlene Peterson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
