She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Roen and Helga Roen (Borgerson); her children, Larry, Dennis, Wayne (Rodney) and Sharon Handrahan (Eugene); her grandchildren, Abigail and Benjamin; her siblings, Doris Knutson, Lyle Roen and Harley Roen; and her siblings-in-law, Evelyn "Evie" Roen and Glen Knutson.
She is survived by: her husband Lloyd Eugene Torkelson; her children, Jim, Gary and Marlys; her daughter-in-law Kris Torkelson (Dennis) of Beldenville; her grandchildren, Pamela Johnson (David), Jason Torkelson and Todd Torkelson (Sonja); her great grandchildren, Amber Prisch (Brad), Katie Johnson, Laci Edhlund, Madelyn Edhlund, Drew Peters, Camryn Torkelson, Max Peters, Chelsi Beall and Cooper Beall; her great great grandchildren, Clayton and Jackson Prisch; and her brothers, Arnold Roen and Kenneth Roen (Deanna). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
