He was predeceased by: his former wife Viola Hauck; his wife Louise; his daughter Rose Marie Ackley; and his parents, Erwin Schumacher and Anne Schumacher.
He is survived by: his children, Buddy Schumacher (Linda) and Bonnie Hawley (Dennis); his son-in-law Scott Ackley; his grandchildren, Cody (Shauna), Clinton (Stacy), Drew, Shelby (Casey), Jesse (Rachel) and Mindy (Billy); his stepgrandchildren, Doug and Kelle (Andrew); and his sister Mickey Bussman. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
