He was predeceased by: his wife Delores Newton; his siblings, Kenneth Lind (Lorraine), Helen Jacobson (Clarence), Dorothy Phernetton (Lyle) and Doris Freeman (Dale); his brothers-in-law, Verlyn Newton, Earl Newton and John Newton; and his granddaughter Andrea Christopherson.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Lind (Cathy), Robert Lind (Kitty), Kathryn Wood (Gene), Debra Christopherson (Gary), Cynthia Lind (Terry Genske), Judith Underbakke (Dean) and Lori Reimann (Kirk); and his siblings-in-law, Duane Newton, Inez Newton, Marlys Newton and Judy Newton. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and close friends.
