He is survived by: his children, Mark Poppe (Kim), Jim Poppe and Kay Dorwin (Mike); his grandchildren, Gpa, Heather Thomas (Ross), Eric Dorwin (Bailey), Trevor Poppe, Hannah Poppe, Nathan Poppe and Kristina Poppe; his great grandchildren, Devon Kay, Sawyer Marie and Harper Violet Thomas; and his siblings, Beverly Sillampa, Janet Zaborowski and Jack Poppe (Pat). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Family prefers memorials to Baldwin American Legion, Adoray Hospice or Parkview Nursing Home.
