It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bernice Mae VanDien of Baldwin, Wisconsin, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on March 10, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Kersten and Gertrude Kersten (Holmgren); her husband Gene VanDien; her brother Chuck; her nephew Todd; her niece Tina; her brother-in-law Larry Ness; and her nephew Craig.
She is survived by: her children, Dave (Suzanne) of Hackensack, MN and Deb Morse (Larry) of Mendota Heights, MN; her grandchildren, Anna Mae, Allen, Abby, Isaac, Matthew and Veronica; and her sisters, Joyce Waller (Gordon), June Ness and Carol Zevenbergen (Willy).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the O'Connell Family Funeral Home - Baldwin (1010 Newton St, Baldwin, WI 54002). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred to the First Baptist Church in Woodville, WI.
