She was predeceased by: her parents, Eben Roy Hanson, Sr. and Loretta E. Hanson (Grovogel); her husband James Walter Abrahamson, Sr.; her siblings, Lawrence Hanson, Robert Hanson, James Hanson (Rosealyn "Rosie"), Eben Hanson, Jr. (June), Jean Zak Widder (Reuben), Margaret "Peggy" Kuehn (Carlton "Buck") and Carol Nelson (Joe); and her siblings-in-law, Wallace Abrahamson (Gertrude), Joyce Abrahamson and Raphael Zak.
She is survived by: her children, James Abrahamson, Jr. of Sturgeon Bay, Michael Abrahamson (Jody) of De Pere, Julie Vandertie (Dan) of Brussels and Steven Abrahamson (Brenda) of Sturgeon Bay; her grandchildren, Rachel, Krista Abrahamson (Branden VandeVen), Karlee, Bridget, Austin Vandertie, Nathan, Hannah and Isaac Abrahamson; her siblings, William Hanson (Virginia) of Sturgeon Bay, Donald Hanson (Judy) of Janesville and Florence Melichar (Donald) of Plymouth; and her siblings-in-law, Agnes Hanson, Florence Hanson, Lawrence Abrahamson (Margaret), Thomas Abrahamson (Lois), Theresa Phillips (Howard) and Dorothy Abrahamson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; other relatives; and friends.
Memorials may be given in Helen's name for the Unity Hospice or the Pete and Jelaine Horton Skilled Nursing and Hospice Center (c/o Door County Medical Center Foundation).
