It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene A. Stanis of Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on May 12, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Stanis and Genevieve Stanis (Niske); and his sister Elaine Sharp. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Stanis (Smith); his daughters, Beth Buri (Dan Roanhaus) and Mary Stenholm (Glenn); his grandchildren, Jenny Olson (Noel), Brian Stenholm (Raegen), Becky Kern (Rob), Katie Tobin (Dave) and Mike Buri (Emma); his great grandchildren, Mikala Ness (Andy), Jordan Olson, Erin Olson, Tenley Tobin, Marvin Kern, Tessa Tobin, Tatum Tobin and Amelia Buri; his great great grandchild Marleigh Ness; and his brother Richard "Dick" Stanis (Reita). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and good friends.
