She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Kirschbaum and A. Marie Kirschbaum (Ackerman); her husband Jacob J. Schurman Jr.; her sons, John and Jerome Harpin; her great grandchild Kashton Warrington; her stepson Jacob Schurman III; and her sisters, Teri Williams and Darlene Kirschbaum.
She is survived by: her children, James Harpin of Midwest City, OK, Jeff Schurman (DeAnn) of Lake Shore, MN, Joanie Dickerson (Delane Moomey) of Bagley, Janet Iverson (Craig) of Waukon, IA and Julia Warrington of Bagley; her stepchildren, Karen Bradley (Dennis) of Ferryville, Brenda Williams (Ron) of Homosassa, FL, Jerry Swab of Lancaster and Charles Swab (Vonnie) of Fennimore; her brother Alois Kirschbaum (Vivian Achenbach) of Prairie; and her sister-in-law Lorraine Schurman of Lancaster. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.
In lieu of plants and flowers, memorials may be given to the St. Mary Catholic Church or the American Legion Auxiliary Foundation in loving memory of LaVon Schurman.
