He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Rakow and Earl Rakow. He is survived by: his spouses, Kathleen Harding and Nancy Troxel-Rakow; his children, Timothy Rakow and Amy Smith (Michael); his grandsons, Holden Smith and Camden Smith; and his siblings, Loretta Evert, Robert Rakow (Peggy), Marilyn "Sue" Eisman (Steve), Paulette Rakow, Pamela Jensen (Steve) and Frances Schwingle (John). He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
