Deloris Lins Obituary

Deloris Lins, 79, of Avoca died Thursday, June 8, 2017. She was born on August 2, 1937, in Cobb the daughter of John and Ruth (Ruzicka) Forman. On August 24, 1957, Deloris was united in marriage to Valery Lins in Spring Green. The couple moved to the family farm in 1966 and they stayed there until their deaths.

Deloris loved spending time in her garden and with her flowers. She was an avid reader of books. Deloris loved her children and grandchildren.

Deloris is survived by three children: Scott (Carmen) Lins, Connie Lins-Studnicka, Adam (Lauri) Lins; eight grandchildren: Desirae, Nikolaus, Cameron (Samantha), Rocio, Ryan, Jadanna, Dakota, and Montana; four great-grandchildren: Audin, Adriana, Avelyn, Athena; brother: Joe (Lois) Foreman; sister: Dorothy Larson-Harris; special friends Ben and Mary Minter; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Deloris was preceded in death by her parents, husband Valery, sisters Ruth Forman and Joyce Walls. Graveside services will be held at the Eden Cemetery in Cobb on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 1:00 PM. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Avoca from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. A reception will be held at the Cobb Fire Station after the burial until 3:00 PM.
